Joelle and Jean-François FURIC decided to set up La Compagnie Bretonne at the south-western tip of Finistère, in the heart of the Cornish fishing ports, thus perpetuating the trade of Alain and Jules FURIC, both fish canners and respectively Jean-François' grandfather and father.
